For ages 8-13. Explore the art of picture book illustration. Discover techniques used by contemporary illustrators and unleash your inner artist!

Each week, we will feature a different art medium and draw inspiration from picture book illustrators around the world, including Mies Van Hout (Dutch), Emily Gravett (UK), and Canadians Julie Flett and Jeremy Tankard. Come try your hand at oil pastel, collage, plasticine, and more.

The final program will be an art show of all of the art produced during the weeks prior.

This program requires free registration. All supplies provided.

Caregivers of children ages 7-9 must remain in the library during the program. Thank you.
