Ages 6+. Join Launchpoint Academy Instructors in learning the elements of storytelling!

What creates a complete story, and how can we use our bodies and environments to convey our stories to our audience?

Launchpoint Academy is the education branch of Blue Canoe Productions. Blue Canoe's mission is to create opportunities for youth aged 30 and under to gain experience in the performing arts by developing a professional, safe, fun, and engaging atmosphere for youth to work together on theatrical productions. Blue Canoe strives to engage youth by working together as equals and as peers on productions. In addition to producing theatre productions, Blue Canoe creates education programs to help further engage the youth of Kingston. Blue Canoe strives to select programming based upon the ability to offer as many opportunities to youth as possible, selecting work that offers an equal opportunity for the youth of various ages with a focus on but not limited to, musical theatre.
