The Friends of the Library Community Meeting Room

For ages 14 and up. Get your tools in shape for spring planting! Bring your shovel, spade or trowel and learn how to sharpen their edges.

Tracey Filson of the 1000 Islands Master Gardeners will guide participants in cleaning and honing the edges of their shovels, spades and trowels, and will demonstrate how to sharpen and maintain pruning shears and other bladed tools. You'll head home with tools that are ready to tackle all of your spring garden chores.

Make It Happen is a bi-weekly program that brings community experts into the Library to teach useful hands-on skills. No previous experience necessary.

This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Kingston Frontenac Public Library.
