For ages 14 and up. Join Kingston Pride in the Gather Space for a zine-making workshop that is designed to help you celebrate and reflect upon your Pride month.
Pride Month can be a beautiful and emotional time. In this workshop, Emily-Aster Cehic of Kingston Pride will lead participants in creating zines that enable them to explore personal expression, contemplate their Pride experience, and honour the journey of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
Emily-Aster Cehic is a multidisciplinary queer, non-binary, disabled artist of colour and community organizer crafting colourful, story-driven work that explores identity, accessibility, and collective care.
Make It Happen is a bi-weekly program that brings community experts into the Library to teach useful hands-on skills. No previous experience necessary.
This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Kingston Frontenac Public Library.
