Spring has sprung, and it's time to get our hands in the soil! Whether you have a green thumb or you've never touched a trowel, join us for a day dedicated to seeds, sprouts, and community spirit.
KFPL's Kingston Youth Climate Council is proud to host the "Roots and Shoots" Community Fair. Join us along with Kingston Community Health Centres and 1000 Islands Master Gardeners to celebrate the official opening of the Calvin Park Community Garden and the joy of growing our own food and flowers. From planting your first seeds to enjoying a free community lunch, there's something for everyone.
In the Library and Courtyard (Drop-in):
Enjoy a free lunch (please bring a reusable water bottle if you can), garden giveaways, games, face painting, community booths, and crafts.
In the Garden (Registration required):
Join KCHC and 1000 Islands Master Gardeners for a gardening workshop from 11:30-1:00 PM.
