For children of all ages. Explore braille through play using LEGO® Braille Bricks while learning how people who are blind or visually impaired read and communicate. All materials provided.
Each LEGO® Braille Brick features braille characters that encourage literacy, creativity, and inclusive play. Through games, challenges, and building activities, kids will explore the basics of braille while learning about accessibility and different ways people experience the world.
Open to all children — no previous braille experience needed!
Manufacturer's recommendations: Duplo is best suited for children 2 and up, and LEGO is best suited for children 4 and up.
This is a drop in program. Admission will be on a first come, first served basis. Find us in the multipurpose room.
Caregivers of children under the age of 7 must remain in the program space; caregivers of children ages 7-9 must remain in the library during the program. Thank you.
