For newborns and pre-walking babies. Stories, songs, rhymes and tickles. Parents and caregivers will learn, and practise, fun and simple ways to incorporate early literacy skills in the home.
For children of all ages. The whole family is encouraged to participate actively in stories, songs and movement activities to maximize your child’s pre-reading skills for life.
For ages 3 and under. Through rhythm, rhyme and movement, children will naturally develop language and increase their ability to hear the smaller sounds in words.
For ages 3 to 5. Explore and discover! Blending simple experiments with stories and songs, the program will introduce STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) concepts to young scientists.
For ages 10 to 18. Coder Dojo provides a fun and welcoming environment for children and teens to develop computer coding skills for web, app, and game design.
For ages 3 and under. Through rhythm, rhyme and movement, children will naturally develop language and increase their ability to hear the smaller sounds in words.
KFPL's Teen Drop-In is a safe space for teens aged 13-18 to hang out after school. Attendees can work on homework, play board and video games, or work on a fun craft. Light snacks will be provided.
For ages 8 to 13. Make animated Claymation movies! Over three weeks, design and create clay figures and sets, and film stop-motion animated movies. Bring your story ideas. We will provide the rest!
