The Friends of the Library Community Meeting Room

Do you have any extra arts and crafts materials in good condition that you'd like to donate to the library's Art Hive program? Drop them off and check out a sneak-peek into our exciting new program!

We are looking for good-condition, gently-used arts and crafts materials to be used in our new Create Space at the Central branch. In the interest of saving space, we will not accept any materials in poor-condition. Accepted donations will be used for our new Art Hive program! Please note, these Material Drives will be the only occasions when donations will be accepted.

What is an Art Hive?

"An Art Hive is a community art studio that welcomes everyone as an artist...at its heart, an Art Hive is about inclusion, respect and learning. It's a welcoming place to talk, make art and build communities." - https://arthives.org/

Join us at Central's Create Space to make a variety of projects in a low-stress environment. Create as a group, or work on whatever interests you. Available materials include: arts and crafts supplies, sewing machines, knitting needles, 3D printers, green screen/portrait background, photo editing software and more!

Please contact Maddy with any questions you may have about this program or possible donations.
