l'Animatrice, Johanne Bénard est professeure au Département d’études françaises de l’Université Queen’s, où elle enseigne la littérature française et francophone du XXe siècle depuis 1989. Elle s’intéresse aussi à la littérature et au théâtre contemporain.

Host, Johanne Bénard is a professor in the French Studies Department at Queen’s, where she teaches French and Francophone literature of the XXth century since 1989. She is also interested by contemporary literature and theatre.

Né à Saint-Jean-Port-Joli, au Québec, Normand Dupont habite Kingston depuis 1982. Il a enseigné le français langue seconde à l’élémentaire pendant 7 ans et enseigné 24 ans à l’école secondaire catholique Marie-Rivier où il a fondé la troupe Quiproquo. Normand est à la retraite depuis février 2013. Il est directeur artistique de la troupe de théâtre communautaire Les Tréteaux de Kingston. Il a joué à quatre reprises au sein de troupes anglophones. Il a été animateur du projet Connexion Théâtre-Danse pour le Centre culturel Frontenac de 2013 à 2018 pour y faire de la médiation culturelle. Normand est passionné par le théâtre.

Born in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli, in Quebec, Normand Dupont moved to Kingston in 1982. He taught French as a second language in elementary schools for seven years and taught afterwards at école secondaire catholique Marie-Rivier, where he founded Quiproquo, the school theatre company. He retired in February 2013. Normand is the artistic director of Les Tréteaux de Kingston, a French community theatre company. From 2013 to 2018, he was animator for Centre culturel Frontenac of the project Connexion Théâtre-Danse aiming to increase performing arts outreach and audience development. Theatre is Normand’s passion.

Liam Karry est le producteur artistique du Festival Kick & Push. Il est le directeur artistique fondateur de la Single Thread Theatre Company. Il a été membre fondateur de la CoLABoratory Theatre Workshop Initiative et de la Kingston Theatre Alliance. Sa réalisation le plus récent était une installation éducative d'une école primaire. Les projets à venir incluent une production immersive à Bangkok, en Thaïlande.

Liam Karry is the Artistic Producer of the Kick & Push Festival. He is the founding artistic director of the Single Thread Theatre Company. He was a founding member of the CoLABoratory Theatre Workshop Initiative and the Kingston Theatre Alliance. His most recent directing credit was a site specific educational installation within a primary school. Upcoming projects include a site specific immersive production in Bangkok, Thailand.
