Participants from the Sharbot Lake session of Telling Your Story: Seniors' Writing Workshop Series will read excerpts from the personal memoirs and family histories created during the 5-week workshop.

For five weeks this October award-winning author Jean Rae Baxter met each week with a group of local seniors, showing how to use the tools of fiction to write an engaging memoir or family history.  Now those writers are ready to share their memoirs with friends, family and community.  Come hear stories of fascinating lives, and maybe even learn something new about your neighbours.

This is a drop in program. Admission is free and will be on a first come, first served basis.

Please note that there is an accessible entrance at the rear of the building.
