For ages 8 to 10. Join Canada's largest recreational reading program--the Forest of Reading®! Fiction and non-fiction book club.

Let's celebrate Canadian books! In this junior book club, we will meet to discuss the fiction and non-fiction books that have been nominated for the Silver Birch Express Award®. Expect to experience fun activities and games, and to make new friends!

Books in this award category are geared towards reluctant readers.

Club members who read at least five of the ten nominated books will be eligible for a certificate, and will be able to vote for their favourite book. The winning book will be announced in May.

What are we reading together?

Meeting Dates: January 27, February 10, February 24, March 9, March 23

Caregivers of children ages 8-9 must remain in the library during the program. Thank you.
