Learn the basics or get some help with that tricky project you're already working on! Chantal will show you how to start a project, fix mistakes, and knit or crochet with a purpose.
Materials will be provided, but if you'd like needles and wool of your own then here is some advice from our workshop leader, Chantal:
New knitters should start with worsted size yarn (4) light colors as dark colors are hard to see and when you are learning and it makes it easier when you can see what you are doing. Size 4, 4.5, 5, and 5.5 are ideal sized needles to start with. If you have a pattern of something you would like to make or would like to make in the future, then bring that and we can look it over and make sure you learn the knitting / crochet stitches required for the project. If you don’t want to buy new, then Value Village or Taleze may have some used yarn and needles.
