Join Lori each week as she guides participants through a variety of challenges to develop basic coding skills. For ages 10 to 18, but adults might enjoy this basic coding program as well!

Weekly episodes will demonstrate new projects to try using common introductory coding programs.

July 9: Introduction to SCRATCH, setting up an account, exploring the site, "Animate a Name" challenge

July 16: Create a Story in SCRATCH, choosing a background and sprites, code your characters to have a conversation

July 23: investigate Loops in SCRATCH.

July 30: Explore Variables in SCRATCH

August 6:Making Music in SCRATCH, Making Art in SCRATCH

August 13: Making Art in SCRATCH

August 20: Moving into Python, coding  “hello world”, moving from blocks to python

August 27: Exploring Turtle Graphics in Python
