Even in the midst of a pandemic, climate change remains the most pressing global issue of our time, and climate justice the necessary path for a livable future.
As a member of KYCC, you will help design, execute, and lead a process of climate education, connection, empowerment, and action that will engage youth in Kingston and the city of Kingston itself.
The Kingston Youth Climate Council is now accepting volunteers. If you are interested in learning more, please contact Graeme Langdon, Teen & New Adult Librarian, at glangdon@kfpl.ca.
This interactive online program will be held on Zoom. Registration will close four hours prior to the event, and registrants will be sent the link at least one hour prior to the start time. It is recommended that participants download Zoom in advance.
KFPL often has events and program "in the community," outside of the library branches. Look in the description of the program for more information about where it is located.
