Grownup Storytime is back, still in a socially distanced form until in-person programs resume. Relax at home and listen to a couple of short readings -- short stories, essays, articles, and excerpts.

Grownup Storytime will take place each Monday from February 1 through March 29, (EXCEPT February 15, due to the Family Day holiday).  Sit down with your lunch or a beverage, or your knitting, or just take a break from your busy day.  Why should kids have all the fun?

This year there are two ways to attend Grownup Storytime:

  • Our Zoom program returns, on Mondays from noon until 1 PM, with participants receiving a Zoom link immediately upon registration through this page.  (Don't forget to save that Zoom link, and also to download the latest version of Zoom in advance to the device you’ll be using!)  Please note that the same Zoom link will be used each week, so once you've registered for any one Zoom session you'll automatically be registered for all subsequent Zoom sessions through March 29.  If you don't yet have a KFPL membership or if you need to renew one, please follow the steps on our Getting a Library Card page.
  • Those without online access may now attend on Mondays from 10 to 11 AM through the Seniors Centre Phone From Home program -- just phone (613) 548-7810 ext 238 to register. You need not be a KFPL member to attend the Phone From Home sessions.
