For adults. This half-hour, six-week beginner ukulele workshop series will teach the basic anatomy of the ukulele, chords, strumming, and songs.

This interactive online program will be held Thursdays on Zoom from 6:30 to 7 p.m., from March 11 through April 15.  A limited number of spaces are available so that we can provide more one-on-one support to each participant.  Registration will close three days prior to the event, and registrants will receive a Zoom meeting link upon registration. It is recommended that participants download Zoom in advance to whichever device they'll be using for this program.

Registrants will be able to borrow ukulele kits from the Isabel Turner Branch using the library card associated with their registration.  You will be asked when registering whether you are right- or left-handed; a limited number of left-handed ukuleles will be available.  You will be contacted when your kit is ready to be picked up.  Due to the current lockdown ukulele kits may be collected only through curbside pickup and only at the Isabel Turner branch; check pickup hours at https://www.kfpl.ca/hours-and-locations/isabel-turner-branch.  Make sure you bring your library card when you come!
