Work alongside community members and KFPL to develop programs and collections that represent the region's Indigenous communities.
The Indigenous Advisory Council invites community members to propose upcoming events and collections enhancements that will reflect the needs and preferences of Indigenous communities.
This meeting will also include a discussion on KFPL's Indigenous speaker events, how to engage youth and students in Kingston-Frontenac, and KFPL's participation in June events related to National Indigenous Peoples Day.
KFPL often has events and program "in the community," outside of the library branches. Look in the description of the program for more information about where it is located.
