Winnipeg writer (and 2014 Writer-in-Residence at KFPL) Patricia Robertson will read online from her new short story collection, ‘Hour of the Crab’ and answer questions about her writing.
Patricia Robertson’s latest book Hour of the Crab is an intriguing collection of ten stories written in what she considers “a form of heightened realism”. Some stories are loosely linked by their characters, while others highlight what one reviewer called “the slow slide into dystopia”.
Patricia is no stranger to Kingston/Frontenac, having been KFPL’s Writer-in-Residence from January to June of 2014. Many community members benefited from her Manuscript in Progress writing help as well as her popular writing workshops on story development and teen fantasy.
