Join mystery writer Iona Whishaw, author of the Lane Winslow series, for an online reading and Q&A.

BC author Iona Whishaw will read from her new book, A Lethal Lesson, and will speak about her writing and her popular series.  It’s December 1947 and ex-intelligence officer Lane Winslow and her policeman husband are back home in the Kootenays after their Arizona honeymoon.  Lane volunteers to fill in at the local one-room school when neither the outgoing nor the incoming teacher shows up for work one snowy Monday morning.  Series fans won’t be surprised to learn that something sinister has happened to both educators!

This one-hour interactive online presentation will be held on Zoom.  Registrants will be emailed the link immediately upon registration.  (Please check your Junk and Spam folders right away if you don't see the confirmation email and link in your Inbox then adjust your settings to make sure emails from KFPL aren't blocked.  You can also access event links by scrolling over the calendar icon at the top of our website and signing in to My Events.)  Participants will need to download the latest version of Zoom in advance to the device they’ll be using during the presentation.
