Grownup Storytime is back, still in a virtual form until in-person programs resume. Relax at home and listen to a couple of short readings -- short stories, essays, articles, and excerpts.

Grownup Storytime will take place each Monday from July 5 through 26. Sit down with your lunch or a beverage, or your knitting, or just take a break from your busy day. Why should kids have all the fun?

This interactive online program will be held on Zoom. Participants will be emailed the link at least one hour prior to the start time. Registrants will need to download in advance the latest version of Zoom to whichever device they'll be using for Grownup Storytime.

Please note that while we will continue to hold this virtual session on Zoom from noon until 1 PM each Monday in July, we will also offer an identical outdoor session (weather permitting) from 1:30 to 2:30 PM on the outdoor porch at the Sydenham branch.  The same excerpts offered earlier at the virtual session will be read again at the outdoor session.  If the outdoor session will be cancelled due to inclement weather we will email registrants each Monday morning after 10 AM to let them know.

If you are interested in attending the outdoor session, but would like to be able to attend the online version in case of rain, please register for this series above as well as for the outdoor series (using the link at https://calendar.kfpl.ca/event/5309828).

The excerpts read at each week’s later outdoor session will be identical to those read at the earlier virtual session.
