Offered online (July 19-23) via Zoom for children in Grades 1 through 3. Teen volunteers and library staff facilitate one-on-one reading support and fun literacy activities for new readers
KFPL’s Reading Buddies program exists to nurture the developing literacy skills of young readers through one-one-one reading support and fun literacy activities. This year, Reading Buddies will be facilitated online with Zoom from August 10 to 14.
Participation will require a computer with stable Internet connection and computer with webcam and microphone. We are asking that a parent or guardian remain close by to assist with any technology issues.
This program requires free registration. Registrants are asked to provide an email address and we will send a link to a series of private Zoom meetings.
