Ages 9-12. Join the team at Connections Engineering Outreach through Queen’s University and learn how to use the engineering design process to design, build, test and fix a tiny eco-house.
During this workshop, participants will use the engineering design process to design, build, test and fix a tiny eco-house using easy-to-access materials found throughout their home. This workshop will require participants to merge their creative side with their understanding of structures, habitats, and environmental awareness.
Recommended materials to have on hand: Household build materials such as, cardboard, construction paper, scissors, tape, glue, popsicle sticks, etc.
This interactive online program will be held on Zoom. Registrants will be sent the link at least one hour prior to the start time. It is recommended that participants download Zoom in advance.
