Indigenous Canada is a 12-lesson course led by the Faculty of Native Studies at the University of Alberta. KFPL will lead Zoom discussions after each week's lesson starting on June 23.
Indigenous Canada is a self-paced course led by Indigenous educators. Join KFPL each Wednesday from June 23 to September 8 for discussions on each week’s lesson. The purpose of this program is to provide a thorough knowledge of Indigenous historical experiences, current issues and cultural awareness for the general population. KFPL registration is limited to twenty participants. See here for course information and free registration.
The moderator will review each lesson with all registrants. Afterwards, breakout groups will form to discuss assigned questions related to the lesson. Everybody will reconvene to discuss their findings, and suggest how the library can meet their future research needs.
