Write On continues online through Zoom. Jean Rae Baxter hosts a monthly meeting of area writers 18 and older. Share your work and exchange constructive criticism and helpful suggestions. Limited space
Are you a writer 18 or older who is already working on a writing project, or who is ready to start one? If you're interested in meeting online with a small group of other writers to share your work and to give and receive constructive criticism and helpful suggestions, you're most welcome to attend.
Normally on the second Thursday of each month award-winning author Jean Rae Baxter hosts a session for a small group of writers through Zoom from 2 until 3:30 p.m. In order to allow equal time for sharing only eight (8) spaces will be available each month, and participants are asked to limit the size of the piece shared to one which can be read in eight minutes. For September only the meeting has been rescheduled to the third Thursday, on September 16.
You may come as often as you like, but you must register separately for each monthly meeting. Registration for each month will open at 9 a.m. on the Saturday immediately before each meeting.
This interactive online program will be held on Zoom. Registration will close four hours prior to the event, and participants will be sent the link immediately upon registration. Attendees will need to download the most recent Zoom software in advance to the device which they'll be using during the meeting.
Please note that this is the registration page only for the Thursday September 16 meeting; registration for the Thursday October 14 session will open at 9 a.m. on Saturday October 9.
