Join local SF writer Jerri Jerreat in an online writing workshop on character, suspense and theme in eco-fiction and solarpunk.
No matter how intriguing the future of your sci fi story, most readers need well-developed characters to pull us headlong into the whirlpool of your story. As well, suspense is the building excitement, the thrill of the plot. Make sure you have a way to take notes -- a laptop, a tablet, or even paper and pen -- because we're going to have some fun. This workshop is open to adults aged 18 and older.
Jerri Jerreat has an MFA in Creative Writing and taught Creative Writing for six years at St. Lawrence College. Her stories have been published in the two Glass and Gardens solarpunk anthologies, Nevertheless: Tesseracts Twenty-One, and a dozen literary journals including The New Quarterly and The Yale Review Online.
