Engage, enjoy and learn from Dr. Lawford's expertise on the field of Indigenous health and wellness.

Join KFPL for a presentation by Dr. Lawford as she discusses her research on gender-inclusive, Indigenous experiences within the healthcare system.  Dr. Lawford is an Aboriginal midwife (Namegosibiing, Lac Seul First Nation, Treaty 3) a Registered midwife (Ontario), and Assistant professor in Gender Studies at Queen's University with an additional specialty in Indigenous maternity care. This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
