November is Make a Will Month! Ontario trusts and estates lawyers explain the importance of wills and powers of attorney on Zoom, and what to keep in mind when preparing your own estate and care plan.

Learn about the importance for yourself and your family of having a will and powers of attorney. Area lawyers who practice Trusts and Estate Law will speak about the elements of a will; what happens if you don’t have one; what are powers of attorney and why they are important; and special considerations to keep in mind when preparing your estate and care plans.

This interactive online presentation will be held on Zoom.  Registrants will be emailed the link immediately upon registration. (Please check your Junk and Spam folders right away if you don't see the confirmation email and link in your Inbox, then adjust your settings to make sure emails from KFPL aren't blocked.  You can also access event links by scrolling over the calendar icon at the top of the main page of our website and signing in to My Events.) Registration will close at 2 PM on Saturday November 6.

Participants will need to download the latest version of Zoom in advance to the device they’ll be using during the presentation.

This presentation will be offered twice more:

All three presentations will be the same.
