Emancipation Day is celebrated on August 1 to mark the end of slavery in Canada. Enjoy this Emancipation storytime with special guest readers, Michelle from Ruthy's Reading Room, and Judith Brown, retired teacher and current trustee of the LDSB.
If rain, the program will be cancelled. The program will also be cancelled if temperatures (or the humidex) surpass 36°C or an air quality advisory has been issued. Cancellation notices will be posted on the KFPL website, Facebook and Twitter.
