Recommended for readers ages 5 to 10. Teen volunteers and library staff provide one-on-one reading support and fun literacy activities for emerging readers.

*Now open to both newcomer readers and the general public.*

KFPL’s Reading Buddies program exists to nurture the developing literacy skills of young readers through one-one-one reading support and fun literacy activities.

This program is best suited for emerging readers who are able to sit and read with their Buddy for extended periods of time.

Please bring your free TD Summer Reading Club booklet to track your reading. 

 

This program requires free registration.

Caregivers of children under the age of 7 must remain in the program space; caregivers of children ages 7-9 must remain in the library during the program. Thank you.
