Join Queen's Library, KFPL and Omar El Akkad for a presentation on his works and the creative process.

Omar Al Akkad is a bestselling and Canada Reads author and Queen's alumni. His titles American War and What Strange Paradise are praised for their insight into current politics and socio-economic conditions. However, Al Akkad's journey to bestselling author was anything but typical. Join us to learn how these works came to be, and how his time in Kingston shaped him as an author.
