This is what happens when you combine book lovers and dog lovers! Walk, laugh and chat about books while giving your four-legged friend a night out.
This is an opportunity for book and animal lovers to get outside and socialize about what they're reading. Bring your latest read or favourite book to share and introduce your canine companion!
Attendees will walk in small groups of three or four on the trails of Lemoine Point. The trails may be messy if damp, so bring some durable footwear. Meet at the main/north entrance by way of Cloverdale Drive past Rotary Park.
Per the City of Kingston Bylaw 2021-166, dogs must be kept on a leash when not on their owner's property unless in a designated off-leash area. There are no maximum leash lengths, and all dogs within the City of Kingston (including rural areas) must be licensed. See here for more information.
In the case of inclement weather (i.e. rain, if the temperature or humidex surpasses 36°C, or if an air quality advisory has been issued), the session will be cancelled, and participants will be notified. Unfortunately, we aren't currently able to reschedule the session for a later date.
Meet at Cloverdale Drive park entrance.
