Make a difference in your community! This garden has dedicated space towards growing produce that will be donated to the "Grow-a-Row" program with Loving Spoonful, an organization that seeks to improve food security in the Kingston area.

The Bay Park Community Garden is located in the back field of 775 Progress Avenue (behind Bay Park Baptist Church).

If you already own gardening gloves, please bring them! Otherwise, supplies will be on hand.

This special program is partnered with the City of Kingston through the Neighbourhood Climate Action Champions Program.

This program requires free registration. Registration is for the entire 5 week series:

Week 1 (June 1) : soil
Week 2 (June 8): seeds
Week 3 (June 15): water
Week 4 (June 22): weeds
Week 5 (June 29): harvest

If rain, the program will be cancelled. The program will also be cancelled if temperatures (or the humidex) surpass 36°C or an air quality advisory has been issued. Cancellation notices will be posted on the KFPL website, Facebook and Twitter.
