For ages 14 and up. Join the Queen's African and Caribbean Students' Association (ACSA) for a workshop on carnival as an important cultural display. Make your own carnival headband to take home!
Learn about the importance of carnival in African and Caribbean cultures! ACSA representatives will discuss how carnival is an important cultural display that showcases traditions like dancing, fashion, music, and more. Participants will have an opportunity to create a carnival headband featuring colours and designs that are meaningful to them.
Make It Happen is a bi-weekly program that brings community experts into the Library to teach useful hands-on skills. No previous experience necessary.
