Aging Well is a bi-weekly speakers' series that explores topics of interest for older adults.
A presentation on the topic of Medical Assistance in Dying focusing on its evolution in Canada, and discussion of the ethical questions of whether the most vulnerable populations are being adequately protected, if acceptance of MAiD will prompt a slippery slope to unwanted deaths, and who should be eligible for an assisted death.
Presented by guest speaker Udo Schuklenk, PhD, Professor of Philosophy at Queen's University and Ontario Research Chair in Bioethics.
