Opening for an elementary class (K-6) visit at the Pittsburgh Branch. Please register and a staff member will contact you for more details.

This booking is for an elementary class (K-6) in the Kingston catchment. For Frontenac school requests, high schools, daycares, and/or other groups, please use the Group Visit Form to book your visit.

A maximum of two classes from the same school (example two JK classes) can book the same timeslot.

Once this timeslot is booked, a programmer will connect with you to arrange for library card sign-ups and to tailor the visit for the age group. We will require: school name, ages in group, and teacher(s) name.

A typical class visit lasts approximately one hour, divided into 2 half hour segments. Half an hour will be spent participating in library activities and half an hour for students to tour the junior section and check out materials.

Each class is invited to book one staff-led visit each school year, and is encouraged to return independently for research and/or book selection.
