Join us for a reading party (readathon-style) for a chance to catch up on your summer reading and crush your goals. The first 50 registrants will receive a FREE beverage from Anita Coffee.
It's time for the Summer Reading Challenges and to celebrate KFPL is hosting a Summer Reading Party!
Come down to the Isabel Turner Branch for a day of reading. We are bringing together the library's soft atmosphere, bookish conversation and community, music, games and activities, and of course, coffee! Sign up for the Summer Reading Challenges, maximize your minutes and achieve activity badges - all of which earn you tickets to enter into some of the great prizes (including the Switch 2, a 58" TV, two local staycations, a KitchenAid Stand Mixer and more). Bring your friends and your coziest accessories (ex. outside blankets, comfy clothes, etc.), and join in on this opportunity to practice mindfulness, rebel against your screentime, and engage with others.
The first 50 registrants will receive a FREE beverage from local coffee cart, Anita Coffee. When you arrive, come to the park level to pick up your ticket. They will be onsite selling beverages for all other attendees.
Read in the cool AC of the branch or enjoy the sun in the Lions Civic Gardens. At 2:00 p.m., pop into Books and Beans, our book club run by the New Adult Advisory Board, to discuss your summer reads.
Make the library your hangout spot this summer and enjoy this time to slow down, connect, and enjoy reading—together.
