Part 2. Bring your clown to life! Paint your face with BLOWPONY and then present yourself to the class! It can be a simple show-and-tell of your look or a talent you’d love to share with everyone!
Are you down to clown around? Maybe you know your way around a set of juggling pins or it’s your first time at the circus; this exciting invitation is for all clowns (and clowns at heart)! Local drag clown BLOWPONY has teamed up with KFPL to offer a two-part workshop in clowning! Come get to know the history of clowning, craft your own clown persona, and participate in fun exercises to unlock your silliest potential!
Please bring the face chart sketch from the October 8th session to guide you.
Some supplies provided, participants are asked to bring the make-up and costuming that they want to use for their own looks. Pro tip: Most outfits as BLOWPONY are thrifted and/or upcycled so make sure you check out local thrift stores or even your own closet for outfit inspiration!
Join us in the Gather/Create Space to learn a useful hands-on skill taught by a community expert. No previous experience necessary. For ages 14 and up.
