This introductory program invites older adults to explore 3D printing in a beginner-friendly environment. Participants will learn the basics of 3D printers, gain familiarity with the software, and be introduced to the Create Space. They will have the opportunity to watch the 3D printer in action, including a short print of a key chain that doubles as a phone holder. After a short presentation, which will highlight the basics of 3D printing, including how it can be integrated into everyday life for older adults, participants will have the opportunity to customize their own pre-printed keychain and socialize with other.
