Poet Laureate Jason Heroux offers a 90-minute workshop on Renga poetry in dialogue with the work of Leonard Cohen. Presented in conjunction with Les Ballets Jazz de Montréal's 'Dance Me' at the Grand.

Renga is a genre of Japanese collaborative poetry: verse written by multiple authors in conversation.  In this 15-person workshop for those aged 14 and older, Jason Heroux will lead a discussion of Leonard Cohen's work, after which the participants will use Cohen's verse to initiate a series of Renga poems.

This workshop is offered in conjunction with the February 25 Grand OnStage presentation of Les Ballets Jazz de Montréal's 'Dance Me', which has been described as "an exclusive creation inspired by the rich and profound work of Leonard Cohen".  For more information about the performance and to purchase tickets please visit https://www.kingstongrand.ca/events/les-ballets-jazz-de-montreal-dance-me
