To kick off the 2020 Limestone Genre Expo, Kingston's annual literary event celebrating the best in Canadian genre fiction: a free two-hour adult workshop with thriller writer Katherine Prairie.
Building a compelling, full-length novel from the spark of an idea can be daunting to any fiction writer. In this workshop with thriller writer Katherine Prairie, we’ll take an in-depth look at how the four Cs —characters, conflict, complications, and change — can turn an idea into a page-turner. Whether you’re just getting started, or trying to push your in-progress manuscript to the finish line, you’ll take away helpful techniques from this interactive workshop.
Please note that the workshop starts at 6:30 PM and runs until 8:30 PM.
This workshop is open to adults 18 years and older and requires free registration through EventBrite at https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/2020-limestone-genre-expo-tickets-85989560089?aff=ebdssbdestsearch ; click on the green TICKETS button and then select 'From Idea to Story' Writing Workshop with Katherine Prairie from the list of events.
