For ages 7 to 12. Take home a DASH robot, challenge cards and a few other supplies for 2 weeks! We'll get you started with a video tutorial. Access to a tablet or smart phone is required.

Meet DASH - KFPL's friendly robot!

You’ll need to download the Go App and the Blockly App from Wonder Workshop on a phone or tablet. If you have an Android device, look for the apps in the Play Store. If you have an Apple device, they will be in the App Store. Bluetooth will need to be enabled so that the apps can communicate with Dash.

This Youtube tutorial will get you started once you get DASH home.

Registered patrons may pick up their Robotics Discovery Kit at the Central Branch on Monday, January 25. All kits must be returned to the same location by Monday, February 8 so that they can be prepared for their next take-home families.

Please note that replacement costs will apply for lost or damaged items, with a maximum replacement cost of $277.

Over the next six months, watch for them to be available from our Calvin Park, Cloyne, Isabel Turner, Pittsburgh, Rideau Heights, Sharbot Lake, Sydenham, and Wolfe Island branches.
