6:00pm - 7:30pm

Adults. The Science of Reading has changed how we approach teaching reading to children. Register to join LDSB Literacy Coaches to ask Qs & gain tools to help your child as they dive into reading.

Join Limestone District School Board (LDSB) Learning Coaches, Kristen Matthews and Steven Gillespie, for a soft landing into literacy.  The Science of Reading continues to inform what we know about how children learn to read, and practices in our classrooms are changing because of it. These workshops are an opportunity to inquire, learn, and gain tools to help set your child up for success as they dive into reading.  Every child has the right to learn how to read, and these workshops will offer tools and tips on how you can help give your child the best start on their reading journey.

You should receive a confirmation email that includes the event Zoom link within 24 hours of registration. If you haven't received it, please check your junk folder and adjust your settings to make sure emails from KFPL aren't blocked. You can also access event links by scrolling over the calendar icon at the top of our website and signing in to My Events.
