The climate has changed, and this presents severe challenges for local businesses. Understand today's risks, prepare for tomorrow, and build resilience in this workshop by Sustainable Kingston.

In this free 90-minute workshop brought to you by Sustainable Kingston, you'll learn to:

Understand today's risks. See how current climate impacts - like extreme heat, poor air quality, major storms, and flooding - are already affecting neighbourhoods in Kingston and Frontenac. You'll learn practical steps to keep your household safe and prepared.

Prepare for tomorrow. Get a clear picture of what Kingston and Frontenac's climate is expected to look like in the coming years, and what those changes mean for your home, your health, and your community.

Build resilience. Walk away with guidance, checklists, and tools you need to create your own household emergency plan and strengthen your neighbourhood's ability to respond and recover during climate-related events.

Sponsored by Wawanesa Insurance.

Registration required. While this workshop is geared towards adults and teens, children are welcome with their families and there will be children's activities provided. Please register all who are attending.
