Join us for an evening of connection, creativity, queer expression and community-building through art.
Join us for an evening of connection, creativity, queer expression and community-building through art. Begins with a brief introduction on the history of zines, buttons and more within queer activism, followed by guided mini-workshops lead by local 2SLGBTQ+ artists where you will have a chance you create your own zines, buttons, and stickers to take home and spark change.
You don’t need to be an artist to make art—just bring your imagination.
We will provide all the materials to create a zine, button and stickers. For those who would like - feel free to bring your own stationary and art supplies to use.
This program is in partnership with Kingston Pride. To learn more about the workshop instructors, find them @LGBteaQ_Creations and @SpiderWebWorks.
