Join The Black Luck Collective, Members of Kingston's Black community, and KFPL programmers for story time and activities in celebration of Black History Month!
Children and families/caretakers are invited to a special Ujima Winter Story Time in celebration of Black History Month.
Members of the Kingston Black community will be the readers for the children. The reading will be accompanied by age-appropriate activities facilitated by KFPL programmers.
On February 13, guest reader Michelle Harrison from Ruthy's Reading Room will read from books appropriate for children aged 2-5 years old.
On February 27, guest reader Dr. Kristin Moriah will read from books appropriate for children aged 5+ years old.
This interactive online program will be held on Zoom. Registration will close four hours prior to the event, and registrants will be sent the link at least one hour prior to the start time. It is recommended that participants download Zoom in advance.
