KFPL will provide a take-home kit with Porcini Mushroom Powder and recipes to try at home with a follow-up Zoom meeting to discuss your experience with the spice.

Patrons will receive a phone-call from their preferred library branch to let them know when their kit is available. Our spice of the month is Porcini Mushroom Powder. Each kit will include suggested recipes for patrons to try at home. We will then get together on Zoom on April 11, at 6:30 p.m. to discuss a little history and information about the spice of the month. Patrons will share their experience with the spice, we will discuss likes and dislikes, suggest other recipes etc. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Library
