Wealth advisor Laura Southall shows how women can make smart decisions about money for themselves and their families. The second of five talks, to take you from the basics to retirement, and beyond.

If you have already taken the Financial Literacy for Women: Part I introductory seminar on January 11, then this seminar is for you.

This second seminar expands on the knowledge that you learned in Part I and takes some of the topics to the next level.  We will discuss financial goal setting, stocks, types of mutual funds, real estate, rental properties, retirement, etc.

This 90 minute Zoom seminar is presented by Laura Southall, Senior Wealth Advisor at Assante Financial Management Ltd.

This is the second in a five-part series designed to empower women to understand their financial situations at different stages of life.  The next session, Financial Literacy for Women: Getting Ready to Retire, will be at 7 PM on Tuesday March 22.  Registration will open at 9 AM on Saturday March 12.

This online presentation will be held on Zoom.  Registrants will be emailed the link immediately upon registration.  (Please check your Junk and Spam folders right away if you don't see the confirmation email and link in your Inbox, then adjust your settings to make sure emails from KFPL aren't blocked.  You can also access event links by scrolling over the calendar icon at the top of the main page of our website and signing in to My Events.)

Participants will need to download the latest version of Zoom in advance to the device they’ll be using during the presentation.
